What We Do

CASA of Trinity Valley recruits, trains, and mentors community volunteers who advocate in court for abused and neglected children who find themselves in the foster care system through no fault of their own.

Welcome to CASA of Trinity Valley

CASA is the only volunteer organization that empowers everyday citizens as appointed members of the court. In an overburdened social welfare system, abused and neglected children often slip through the cracks among hundreds of current cases. CASA volunteers change that.

New Volunteer Training

CASA of Trinity Valley is continuously training volunteers to serve in Henderson, Anderson and Cherokee counties.  Should you like to join the CASA program please call Emily Heglund or Angela Hinojosa at (903) 675-7070.  You may also complete an application via this website by clicking on Volunteer Application.

What does a CASA Volunteer do?

CASA volunteers are simply dedicated and devoted women and men willing to advocate for the best interests of an abused child.  CASA volunteers are given support, guidance, tools, and training from professionals in the field to help them understand and work effectively within the child welfare system.
